Resident and Guest Guidelines | Pets | Site Improvement | Recycle Program RECYCLE PROGRAM Palm Creek has developed a comprehensive recycling program that will help to minimize our impact on the environment by converting landfill waste to valuable resources. We urge all Residents and Guests to help us make this program a success. We have an opportunity to divert more than two truck loads a week from going to the landfill and instead converting this waste to a resource. Arrangements have been made with a major recycling company to not only pick up this material at no cost but also to earn revenue that will be given to the charity of our choice. The following guidelines will assist all of us in making this program a success: 1. Small receptacles for aluminum and plastic containers are located throughout the Resort. Please make sure the containers are empty. 2. The yellow and green containers at each dumpster area are meant to receive newspapers, magazines, catalogs, circulars, mail, office paper, chipboard (cereal, beer, soda boxes) and phone books. 3. The dumpster area by the maintenance building has a cardboard compactor with a storage container nearby to place corrugated cardboard. (no chipboard here please). 4. The dumpster areas have special barrels for aluminum and plastic containers. (clean and empty please). 5. The dumpster area by the maintenance building has a large container that is meant for clean plastics #1-6 and metal cans. 6. Paints and Solvents must be taken to the Casa Grande Landfill. This receiving center will not accept such material from Palm Creek only from individual Residents. 7. Waste oil, anti-freeze and auto batteries are accepted at auto parts stores and Walmart. 8. Tires should be left or returned to where you purchase new tires. Landfill will not accept. 9. Construction waste should be taken to the Casa Grande Landfill. 10. Non working appliances of all types should be taken to the Casa Grande Landfill. A charge of $15 applies to appliances with Freon. Example: refrigerator 11. Non working electronics should be taken to the Casa Grande Landfill. There is no charge. Items will be sent to a recycler. The
Casa Grande Landfill is located at 5200 S Chuichu Road Tel.
